Do I need to create an account?

No. Apertize works straight out of the box. No sign-up, no email, no password. Your data stays on your device.

Which languages does it support?

Apertize's AI reads and translates menus in virtually any language. The app interface itself supports English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

How does pricing work?

You get 3 free menu analyses to start. After that, Pro is $9.99/year or $4.99/month for unlimited use and everything else. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings.

Does it work offline?

The AI needs a network connection to translate and recommend (it runs server-side). Your past sessions, group profiles, and favorites are cached locally and available offline.

Is my data private?

Yes. Menu photos are sent to our AI service to be analyzed and then discarded. We don't sell your data, we don't require an account, and we don't track you across apps. See our Privacy Policy.

What if the AI recommends something I don't like?

Swipe to replace any dish with a different one. Or switch to manual mode and pick from the full translated menu yourself. The AI is your assistant, not your manager.

Does it work for solo dining?

Absolutely. Create a "just me" profile, set your budget, and Apertize will pick the best dishes for one — whether you're exploring a new city alone or just want to try something beyond what you always order.

Which devices are supported?

Apertize runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. Android is not currently supported.
