1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Apertize ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Apertize is an AI-powered dining recommendation app that analyzes menu photos and provides dish recommendations based on user preferences, dietary restrictions, and budget.

3. User Accounts

You may sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently remove all your data.

4. Subscriptions

Apertize offers an auto-renewable subscription (Apertize Pro) that provides unlimited access to AI recommendations.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Free trial periods, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. Free Usage

Non-subscribed users receive a limited number of free uses. Once exhausted, a subscription is required for continued access to AI features.

6. AI Recommendations Disclaimer

AI-generated recommendations are for reference only. Apertize does not guarantee the accuracy of menu recognition, pricing, or dietary suitability. Users with allergies or dietary restrictions should always verify with the restaurant.

7. User Content

Menu photos you capture are processed by AI services for analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers after processing is complete.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not: reverse-engineer the App; use the App for unlawful purposes; attempt to bypass subscription requirements; or abuse the AI service with excessive automated requests.

9. Limitation of Liability

Apertize is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to allergic reactions, incorrect pricing, or data loss.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
